The Digestive Quest is a travelling, hands-on health learning experience where children explore what happens to food inside the human body — not by simply looking at diagrams, but by moving, experimenting and completing the journey themselves.
Each edition combines three connected experiences: The Digestive Journey, The Digestive Workshop and Partner Missions. Together, they turn digestive science into a complete discovery experience that children can explore, understand and remember.
As part of Kiddypedia's Amazing Me series, The Digestive Quest is designed as a repeatable experiential-learning IP with a structured learning journey, trained facilitators and reusable activity systems — helping the experience remain recognisable and consistent as it travels from city to city.

In adults, the digestive tract is commonly described as stretching to around 9 metres from beginning to end — roughly the length of a bus.

Across The Digestive Journey, The Digestive Workshop and Partner Missions, children do more than have fun. Each part of the Quest is designed to help them understand their bodies, build curiosity and connect what they discover with the world around them.

About The Quest
What is The Digestive Quest?
The Digestive Quest is a Kiddypedia immersive learning experience where children explore how food travels through the human digestive system through movement, hands-on discovery and play.
The Penang edition brings together The Digestive Journey, The Digestive Workshop and Partner Missions to create a complete learning adventure.
What age group is it designed for?
The experience is primarily designed for children aged 4 to 12 years, with facilitation and learning guidance adapted to suit different ages.
What is the difference between The Digestive Journey and The Digestive Workshop?
The Digestive Journey is the immersive physical adventure where children become the food and travel through the Mouth, Esophagus, Stomach, Intestines and Poop Pool.
The Digestive Workshop is a separate guided hands-on learning experience focusing on the Mouth, Stomach, Small Intestine and Large Intestine.
Families may select the experiences available on the booking page. Completing both unlocks the Digestive Quest Certificate.
How long should we allow for the experience?
The Digestive Journey takes approximately 45–60 minutes.
Please allow additional time if your child is also participating in The Digestive Workshop and completing Partner Missions around the event.
What will children learn?
Children explore the major stages of digestion, discover how food moves through the body, participate in hands-on activities and connect what they learn with everyday health awareness.

Yes. Registration for The Digestive Quest Penang 2026 is now open.
The event takes place from 16–18 October 2026 at Sunshine Central Mall, Penang.
What is a Learning Pass?
A Learning Pass gives a child access to the selected Kiddypedia learning experience. It reflects the educational nature of the programme rather than treating The Digestive Quest as a conventional attraction ticket.

Do I need to book both The Digestive Journey and The Digestive Workshop?
You may select the activities available when booking.
However, children who complete The Digestive Journey + The Digestive Workshop are eligible to redeem their Digestive Quest Certificate.
Missions & Rewards
What are Partner Missions?
Partner Missions are short learning activities hosted by participating brands around the event area. Each mission is designed to be simple, interactive and typically completed in under 3 minutes.
Children collect a stamp after completing each participating mission.
How does my child redeem the Digestive Quest Certificate?
Complete both The Digestive Journey and The Digestive Workshop.
Once both experiences are completed, your child can redeem their Digestive Quest Certificate at the designated redemption area.
How does my child redeem the event goodies?
To redeem the goodies, children need to complete:
The Digestive Journey + The Digestive Workshop + at least 3 Partner Missions.
Present the completed Mission Map at the designated redemption area to redeem the goodies.
Goodies are subject to availability while stocks last.
Does my child need to visit every partner booth?
No. To qualify for the goodies, children only need to complete at least 3 participating Partner Missions together with The Digestive Journey and The Digestive Workshop.
Visiting The Quest
What should we prepare before attending?
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement is recommended. Please also arrive according to the session and participation instructions stated in your booking confirmation.
Is every edition exactly the same?
The core Digestive Quest learning experience remains recognisable across editions, while selected activities, partners, missions and supporting experiences may vary by city and venue.
Will The Digestive Quest visit other cities?
Yes. The Digestive Quest is designed as a travelling Kiddypedia experiential-learning IP. Future locations and editions will be announced through Kiddypedia's official channels.
Schools
Can kindergartens, preschools and schools participate?
Yes. Special school sessions are available on Friday, 16 October 2026:
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
The special school rate is RM5 per student compared with the normal RM20 public child rate.
Participating schools will also be recognised as Supporting Schools, with their school logo featured in the event area. Schools may also apply for a student stage performance opportunity.
